Pros +
- Close to the morning market and local restaurants.
- Hotspring with different mineral composition. Cosy inn. Close to different restaurants and stores. Great inn off the beaten path.
- Food, drinks, and customer service at the restaurant were excellent.
Cons -
- The food quality of the breakfast can be improved. The selection of food is limited to the size of the hotel.
- It was raining and I wanted to borrow an umbrella when I went out, but they did not lend it to me, which was not a good thing.
- The hotel had a lovely public bath but the women's requires an extra key to enter with. Normally this is not an issue, but we ended up waiting quite a long time just to ask for the key since a large group was checking in just as we came down for our bath. It would have been nice if they had a part of the counter that you could come up to if you're just looking to get the bath key instead of checking in to expedite the process. The bath was also quite busy once we got there just due to a few sports teams all going down together. The hotel seems to cater to large groups like this. Not necessarily a bad thing, but probably good to be aware of.

Sea view room; nice breakfast; onsen in the hotel.
The perfect place for our short stay in Wajima! They had a parking structure in which we could park the car that we used to drive up the peninsula and the hotel was in a great location. There were restaurants close by and a plaza which held a free taiko performance the night we were there. The next morning we were able to hit up the market, lacquer museum, and then embark on our next adventure with ease.

The hotel looks good from the outside, but the room is rustic and small. The onsen is good
The breakfast is simple
The breakfast selection was great. We enjoyed the breakfast selection, too. It tasted fresh and healthy. I also really appreciated the free coffee in the hotel area next to the elevators, the pleasant kind staff, the clean and relaxing onsen, and the nice design inside the hotel. Keep up the great work.
I liked everything.
Easy to find. Helpful staff.
crowded onsen.
Modern, clean, quiet, friendly staff. Nice onsen. Parking nearby.
Nice restaurant with beautiful view to small japanese gardens. The staff was very serviceminded (speak english) and help us book dinner and dolphin safari.
The breakfast was nice and it was close to the Wajima Market. Staff was helpful.
The internet connection was very bad. The staff put a repeater in the room, which was in the corner. But the issue is not with the wifi strength, but with the internet connection itself. It kept dropping. I've literally had better internet on the mountain in a third-world country. In the end, I had to sit at the lobby to do my work. The lift lobby and lift smelt of smoke, quite unpleasant.
Good business hotel; as expected. Small rooms but clean. Walking distance from the Wajima Kiriko art Museum and 5 min to the morning market and a good restaurant 2 min away. Free parking.
Location was good for over night break/stay on our Noto Coastal drive. Room stay included breakfast which was good.
Rooms were really small. Since we came from a long way, we had medium sized luggage cases that took up whatever little walking space there was in the room.
Nice hotel, close to everything -the market, the museum. Free parking and indoor onsen.
The western style options at breakfast were very limited.
The room was amazingly comfortable for me. The mattress was like sleeping on a cloud. Onsen was so good too. Meals, proximity to Morning Market, Staff all exceeded my expectations. The free taiko drum show, recommended by staff, at the neighbouring Kiriko Kaikan was next level…
Dinner restaurant closed on Sunday night
Great hotel for a one night stay! We were road tripping the Noto Peninsula and Wajima was the perfect place to stop for the night. Public bath was clean and a nice perk! Centrally located to many restaurants and a shopping street if you're looking to pick up a souvenir. If requested, they'll give you a map of local restaurants that they recommend which was super helpful! It's a bit of a quiet town in the winter time but I can imagine it being more lively in the summer months!
A little bit pricey but I'm assuming it's because they don't really have too many hotels to compete with in the area. Other than that, can't complain!
The location is excellent. The Eastern Building has newer rooms which are small but cosy,The ocean view rooms have fabulous full views of the Japan Sea as the hotel is just next to the sea.Wajima Kiriko Art Museum, fronting the sea, is a short 5 mins walk from the hotel. The Wajima Morning market is also a stone's throw away. The famous rice fields and Salt farms are all within 15 mins' ride.Plenty of well-rated restaurant in the area.
Small room size.Small toilet. The door looks a little flimsy.Small reception area - during peak check in, the area looks very crowded.Limited dining facilities within - only one restaurant which appears to be close after breakfast.Lack of privacy - the sauna rooms are quite close to the reception area.
Fantastic location and beautiful hotel with a very traditional Japanese feel inside. Staff were exceptional and room was bigger than average. Onsen inside the hotel so very relaxing.
Everything was great.
Breakfast was great with a wide range of Japanese dishes as well as a section for western palate. The attention to hygiene was good. Each table was set apart widely. There is not much service though; we mostly self-help ourselves.
We stayed in a Twin room in the East Building which was obviously quite new. Very comfortable, clean etc. Nice view out to sea. Bathroom was small but functional, in any case the onsen (male & female) were large and very good. Undercover carpark right next to the hotel was handy. easy walk to lots of restaurants and the daily market. First time in a Route Inn and we were very happy with our choice.
